Point, shoot, flatten.

Take a photo of a document or import images. Pocket Scan finds the page edges, straightens it, cleans it up and builds a PDF — all on this device.

Use the buttons at the bottom. First time? Tap ? at the top for the guide.

    How Pocket Scan works

Pocket Scan turns photos of paper into clean, flat pages and a PDF. Everything happens inside this browser tab — no upload, no account, no watermark.

    How to

    1. Add pages. Tap the round camera button to take a photo (one per tap — keep tapping for more pages), Live cam to shoot several pages from a live preview, or Import to pick existing photos. On a computer you can also drop images onto the window.
    2. Check the corners. Edges are detected automatically. Tap a page to open it, then drag the four amber handles onto the paper corners — a magnifier appears under your finger. Auto-detect retries, Full image keeps the whole photo, and the shape buttons (Letter, A4, Card, Square) force exact proportions.
    3. Enhance. In step 2 pick Document (white paper, crisp ink), Grayscale, B&W or Original, fine-tune brightness and contrast, rotate if needed, then Save page. Apply to all copies the look to every page.
    4. Arrange. Drag a page by its grip, or use the ← → buttons. ✕ deletes (with undo).
    5. Export. Tap Export PDF, choose Letter, A4 or Fit to image and a quality — the estimated file size is shown — then Download, or Share on phones that support it. JPG gives one image per page (in a ZIP when there are several).

    FAQ

    Where is my data?
Only on this device, in this browser's storage, so a reload or a closed tab doesn't lose your scans. Clear all erases them. Clearing site data does too.
    Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page is open (or saved as a file) it needs no connection at all.
    Is it really free?
Yes — no watermark, no page cap, no ads, no sign-up. An optional tip link appears after you've exported something.
    Limits?
Photos are scaled to about 2600 px on the long side to keep things fast. Very long documents (100+ pages) depend on your device's memory. Edge detection is a heuristic: on low-contrast backgrounds, adjust corners by hand. Live camera needs a browser that allows camera access for this page; otherwise use the camera button.

Privacy. Pocket Scan makes no network requests with your images: no servers, no trackers, no analytics. Camera video is processed in memory and never recorded.
