How Pagewright works

Pagewright is a PDF workbench: merge, split, reorder, rotate, delete and shrink pages from any mix of PDFs and images.
Everything happens on your device — no upload, no account, no daily limit.

How to

  1. Add files. Drop PDFs or images (JPG, PNG, WebP) anywhere, or press Add files. Each file becomes a group on the bench; each image becomes a page.
  2. Pick pages. Click a page to select it, Shift-click for a run, Ctrl/⌘-click to add or remove one, or type numbers like 1-5, 8, 12- in the box and press Enter. On touch screens, a tap toggles a page.
  3. Arrange. Drag pages to reorder them, inside a group or into another one (on touch: press and hold, then drag). Or use the arrow buttons in the toolbar. Use ↑ / ↓ on a group header to move whole documents.
  4. Edit. Rotate left/right, duplicate, insert a blank page after the selection, or delete. Undo is always one click away.
  5. Choose an output in the Output panel: one merged PDF, selected pages only, one PDF per document, every N pages, custom ranges, or cuts after given pages. The preview lists every file and its page count before anything is made.
  6. Build, then save. One file saves directly. Several files: Save to a folder (Chrome / Edge) or Download ZIP (every browser).

FAQ

Where are my files?
Only in this browser tab. Your workbench (files and page order) is also kept in this browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off; Clear bench erases it.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Save this page and open it from your disk — it needs no network at all.
Is it really free? Any limits?
Free, with no daily cap, no batch paywall and no watermark. The only limits are your device's memory and speed: very large sets (thousands of pages, or files over a few hundred MB) can get slow.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted PDFs are skipped with a message. Open the file in your PDF reader with its password and print/save it as a new PDF first.
Why is my shrunk file not searchable?
Shrink turns each page into an image. Leave it off to keep text, links and quality exactly as they were.
Privacy. Pagewright makes no network requests: no uploads, no analytics, no cookies, no tracking. Your files never leave your device.
